Buying US iTunes store movies or music (or even apps in the App Store) is not possible unless you have a US credit card and are resident in the US. If however you still want all the music and the newest movies, iTunes gift cards can help you around this problem.
There are a lot of websites selling these gift cards with any face value from 10$ to 200$ and eBay is also bursting with them.
JerryCards stands out as one of the most secure and easiest services. You buy via PayPal and get the code emailed within seconds. Some websites turn out to be scams or waste time emailing you the code. So JerryCards is a real jewel – especially because they sell Netflix and Xbox gift cards as well!
The main problem with these resellers, including JerryCards, is that they add a hefty percentage (around 15%) to the face value that you purchase. Though I am afraid this is the only way, unless you know someone in the US who can mail you codes all the time.
If you want to add a PDF booklet to an album in iTunes, just drag the PDF file into iTunes. The PDF file will then show up in the Books section of iTunes. Select it and using the Get Info menu item set it’s Media Kind to Music. Then add name tags according to the album and then you’re ready to go.

A long time ago I suggested three sources for finding proper album art for movies. There is now a new website that provides the original iTunes Movie Artwork for nearly all movies. The Valkae blog is truly a simple and great place to find Apple’s stunning iTunes Movie covers.

If you rip your own DVDs into iTunes, then you probably want to have some stunning artwork to go with it. The problem with the standard Google-found posters is that they are low quality, not the right aspect ration and are filled with unnecessary text. iTunes posters aren’t like that!
Here is a list of good and qualitative resources:
- The best option is to try the Valkae blog. It has original iTunes posters and is updated quite regularily.
- Another site that offers original iTunes artwork is GetVideoArtwork.
I have recently made a tutorial on how to jailbreak your iPod/iPhone. Now it’s time to move on to a second part of this…
John has dropped me a mail asking how to put NES ROM’s onto the iPhone/iPod or how to get widgets into the iPhone/iPod’s file system and so I thought, why not write a tutorial!
You can not only put NES ROM’s on your iPod/iPhone if you have access to the file system – but you have access to every single item and file in the iPhone/iPod!!! Nothing is no longer safe – it’s under your control. You can write your own app for the iPod/iPhone or you can modify existing ones, add new wallpapers – all up to you!
Just for your info, same things as far as rights and warranty of the iPhone/iPod and my blaming part in this, they are the same as in the Jailbreak Tutorial!
So, let’s get this thing started:
