So here goes how you do it:

Backup your MacBook!
Make sure you run Mac OS X 10.5.6.
Download and unzip the modified kext file.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thanks to the clever guys at <a href="http://macrumors.com">MacRumors</a>, the multitouch gestures known from the new MacBooks are now &#8220;available&#8221; to the MacBookAir as well as all the other MacBooks with semi-mulitouch. YAY!!!</p>
<p>So here goes how you do it:</p>
<ol>
<li>Backup your MacBook!</li>
<li>Make sure you run Mac OS X 10.5.6.</li>
<li><a href="http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=148551&#038;d=1229380626">Download</a> and unzip the modified kext file.</li>
<li>Using the Finder, navigate to <code>System/Library/Extensions</code> and delete the file <code>AppleUSBMultitouch.kext</code> Backing the file up to another harddrive isn&#8217;t such a bad idea. <img src='http://guimkie.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </li>
<li>Put the downloaded and modified kext file into the folder you just deleted the one file out of.</li>
<li>Open up Disk Utility and repair the disk permissions. This will take some time.</li>
<li>Restart your Mac. Enjoy full multitouch!</li>
