I’ve made a little video to show you what I’ve changed in iMap 2.6.

I am wanting to release the 2.6 version of iMap by tomorrow. If you are still interested in helping out with the help book, then check this post out.

Lastly, if you are interested in localizing iMap into languages than the ones listed below, go ahead and drop me a mail. Those who are interested in helping out in both help books and/or localizing will get the iMap 3.0 for free. If you have purchased iMap before, you can get the upgrade for free. Yes, iMap 3.0 will be a paid upgrade.

The software page seems like a total non-professional software maker and so it keeps a lot of customers from buying iMap. iTweak probably experiences the same issues – but because it is free, people just tend to download it without any worries of being hacked. Weird! They should be worried about free software even more! Though, this is exactly not want I want to bring across. I want to really let the software appeal to everyone and so I thought of moving the software out of this site and into a separate software company domain. This would allow me to junk out the software and make it be professional from both the website and the support; plus keeping the profession of the software.

The same goes for all the tutorials. Although they are a major part of my site, I think they are taking a too heavy weight on this site and so I’d like to move it as well. There are already several iWeb tutorial sites out there and so another one, wouldn’t be the ideal solution. I’d rather make it a site for tutorials in general; at least Mac-based.
I have gone ahead and registered the following domain. This “MacTutorialCenter” should be a site where I basically write all tutorials that have to do just the slightest thing with Macs. I have finished quite a stunning design for it and have started converting the tutorials to fit that page – but now that it is close to being finished I am actually worried about the site being a failure.
Although the iWeb tutorials are highly attractive, I have a feeling that this site will end up like MacInstruct. I totally do not know if they have visitors, if they are alive – but to me it seems like they are just keeping the site alive for the sake of keeping it alive. It’s like trying to reanimate a dead person… No – I am not saying anything about them personally – but this is simply how I feel when I look at their site.

On the contrast, what will happen to Guimkie as soon as I remove half of it? I don’t know…

LOL – This is the point, I am totally confused on how I should put this whole imperium of sites together (or apart).

So if anyone feels like they can drop me a comment about this, then feel free to do so in the comments section. Any input on how you would feel to see such a tutorial site and WHATEVER – state it below!

I’m pricing the iPod at 179€ (SOLD, NO LONGER AVAILABLE) which is exactly 100€ less than with what I bought it. The iPod has absolutely no scratches at the front, headphones are in top shape, dock adapter has never been unpacked and the iPod itself is running smoother than ever.

The iPod is running version 1.1.3 and is not jailbreaked in any way. I have bought the iPhone apps from iTunes and they are on the iPod. I will not delete them (as I see no way how to do this), so they will come with the iPod. Music, videos, notes and whatsoever will of course be deleted.

As far as the hardware stuff goes, it’s the 8GB version. The iPods front has zero scratches. The back has some minor scratches which are tiny and so quite negligible; as seen in the photos. The iPod has been carried inside a iPod Video sleeve, so it’s not plagued by scratches in any way.
The headphones don’t make funny noises, the cable is 100% working and the dock connector has basically been never used. The dock adapter is still wrapped in the original plastic. The little stand for the iPod is also included (which also, was never used). Lastly, the cleaning cloth is also there!
To make it clear, anything that was in the original package, is still in it!

The box, the manuals are of course coming as well. I will pack the iPod back into the box just as it was in the beginning; this thing is practically new!

The iPod has been bought in the online Apple Store on the 25 of September last year and so is still in warranty. The order summary will be printed out and attached.

Lastly, shipping is not included in the price above. Im sending the iPod from Germany, so the closer you are to Munich, the better. It is completely up to you with what carrier, I am totally free to use anything that I can.

I think the best way is to simply take a look at the photos. This is how the iPod will be shipped.

“I Am Legend” is a brand-new movie featuring Will Smith and a near Sci-Fi future not many years ahead. A disease has caused humans to mutate and go mad. Will Smith a.k.a Robert Neville is immune to this disease and as the last human on earth, tries to survive!

I won’t go into many more details but I can tell you, I love this movie! This movie is something different to the standard boring action money-makers (which I love as well) – which it makes it well worth watching.

So, If you haven’t seen this movie yet, then go ahead and watch it! It’s just a great movie. Great soundtrack and fascinating plot.

I’ll try to fit it some time to work on the site and software whenever I can – but I can’t make any promises that I will do anything this or the next week!

At last, this was the bad news. Now to the good news. iMap 2.3 Betas are running well and lot’s of you are testing it quite harshly. Looking forward to any feedback. The new version should come next week – but because I am busy, this can change drastically! Though, since the beta is close to finish it will not take that long!
Same goes for iWebExpander. It’ll get the same “editing-methods” that the new iMap has and thus it will be better as well. Of course, testing first!

Pssst – A new design for the site is coming up as well!

Well, even if you have realized that the site is newly dressed, I would like to “officially” state that I gave it a new dress. It is a Wordpress Theme named “Bubbly” that I plan to officially release when I’m finished with this one. Make sense? I just don’t want my design to be found twice around the world.
