how do i find out if imap has actually worked?

when i try to see if i have keywords or meta tags on statbrain.com it doesn’t show any.

Hey Guys; will my version 2.3 work with my 10.5.8, and iweb 2.0.4 or do I need an upgrade? Tried the update feature; received error…

I just purchased imap and am having problems with iweb 09. I have read that itweak and imap do not work with the FTP process. Any chance that this will be corrected soon ? Thx Peter

Thanks so much for all your work with iMap, it’s great.

I have managed to verify my site on Google, which had been impossible before, so thank you!

However, I have a question about the robots bit of the software – can you do a tutorial, or perhaps email me, about what this means and what I need to do? Do I check the robots box?

Also, at the end of the second tutorial, you say that I must make sure that my sitemap and something else are definitely either on my server or on my iDisk. How do I do this? I can’t find my sitemap.xml – is this a file? Sorry for being so basic!

I was wondering if this does not work for website masking. I am using a MobileMe account with iWeb to build my site, but use a godaddy.com domain name to mask it. Is this causing my problem?

@Curt – I am afraid not. No. iWeb does not like it if thrid-party products fiddle with its sites. Hence, iWeb has built some mechanism that prevents the comments from showing up when someone else has done something to the site.

I’ve read on your site:
“If you are a .Mac (MobileMe) user and have the default comments or hitcounters, the addition of Meta-Tags with iMap will make you loose them.”

I’ve used iMap to integrate the meta-tags and now my default comments for my iweb site are not working. Is there a way to remove the meta-data and get my comments working again?

Is it possible to just use imap and iweb to make sitemaps for google search engines without having to mess with google webmaster tools?

Im not very web savvy but im looking to get my new iweb site noticed in search engines and hoping i dont need the google webmaster tool to do it.
