If you rip your own DVDs into iTunes, then you probably want to have some stunning artwork to go with it. The problem with the standard Google-found posters is that they are low quality, not the right aspect ration and are filled with unnecessary text. iTunes posters aren’t like that!
Here is a list of good and qualitative resources:
- The best option is to try the Valkae blog. It has original iTunes posters and is updated quite regularily.
- Another site that offers original iTunes artwork is GetVideoArtwork.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
I was looking for such a place for sooooo long. Thanks! Thanks!
Johan
I also thank you for providing the links!
Thanks!
I just go do a search through Amazon for the Album art…….once i get to the actual page for the album or dvd i just drag and drop into the selected album art window in itunes (making sure i have already selected the all the tracks i want the album art for)..easy and painless
why not go to imdb.com to look for the description and movie posters/covers
or, go to netflix.com or to blockbuster.com which will have all of the same, movie info and posters to display and pull from readily available?
Just go out and get dvdpedia. It will pull almost any movie that you can think of. The only downfall is you have to pay. However you can enter 20 movies copy the artwork to itunes then delete them from dvdpedia app and start over. Works great though.

You will find everything you want here;

I do not know if I’m in agreement with your post here. While you do make a good point, I don’t believe you have really given a large amount of thought to the other side of this argument. Maybe I could do a guest post or a follow-up, just let me know.
Ok, with about 600 movies which I stream to my Apple TV, I’ve done a lot of this. I’ve tried covers.cc and many others. The site I now use (in fact I went through my entire collection again, after I found this) is :
http://getvideoartwork.com/
The quality seems to be closely monitored and, as a result, is outstanding. Most well-known movies are in there. You can put in requests if they’re not. There is only one file size that the site allows users to submit and the results look awesome in iTunes.
A tip on searching: If, for example, you’re looking for “The Abyss” and it doesn’t come up, just search for “Abyss”. For whatever reason about 5% of the time the search engine doesn’t find the correct result when you type in the full name.
A tip for adding to iTunes. Sometimes iTunes won’t immediately show the update, so restart it after adding artwork to a group of files. Restart any Apple TVs to force them to update with the new artwork.
i use MetaX. it has found every movie i have ever ripped. plus it gives you the rating, and description. You can fill your queue with as many titles as you want, and it will automatically send to itunes when finished.. Whips!!!1
