A Shift For The Software
27 May '08 Filed under News, Software -
It’s a long time since I have ever posted some new news for this site. I did mention quite a while ago that I was a bit confused on how to continue this site. It ended up that many of those comments on that post (and suggestions through emails) have helped me to get aimed into the correct direction.
One thing that bugged many, including me, was that the software pages weren’t put together that well and that it looks as if I don’t care. I wasn’t angry at that, I mean, the way I promote iTweak and iMap are surely not the best ways. The site really looks that I don’t care about iMap and iTweak, which of course is not the direction I wanted to be heading and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
After having been so busy for the past weeks, I haven’t thought about my sites in any way, I am now on the way to getting things fixed. I’m not expecting to get everything finished completely in the next weeks as I still have lot’s of busy stuff coming up - but at least get started.
The first step will be the software site for both iMap and iTweak. The new site is Famside, which lends itself to being my software company. Along with getting the site out there, I’ve got updates for both iMap and iTweak ready as well. They will no longer be the small and ugly apps - but be powerful and look amazing with lot’s of great graphics and CoreAnimation. The futures coming…. ![]()

Great news Max!!! The logo on famside looks fantastic. How did you do it?
Can’t wait to see iMap and iTweak grow. Good luck!
PS: I love iMap. Using it on weekly basis… Thanks

um … cause of two reasons:
- it was pronounced differently by everyone (gumki or gimki or gui miky)
- the name just sucks and so i wanted change
now its famside - but this one will still remain.
