Hi guys

I tried to process the analytics code with iTweak directly on my FTP server which is a managed server in the cloud. During the processing with iTweak I receive an error message which says that it cannot insert the code.

I checked the folder permissions on the FTP server and set everything on write allowed. But still iTweak is not able to write the code directly on the FTP.

So I have to do it using a workaround
1) I tell iWeb to publish the website locally on my Mac
2) iTweak creates the code on all sites which are stored locally on my Mac
3) Now I tell iWeb to publish the website on FTP

Could you help on that?

How do I track the number of downloads (through iTunes) from my MobileMe published podcasting blog. I have the stat working for unique visitors, however it does not track the iTunes downloads… Can you please advise me? Thank you.

Ok, total newbie here… I followed all the instructions and… uh… where am I supposed to be able to see the number of hits being displayed? I’d actually like to have the number invisible.

I put in 2 codes from StatCounter and everything worked fine.
Months later I added 2 more codes from StatCounter and now when any one of the four sites gets a hit, the other three sites also record a hit. How can I fix this?

Hi Max, I had the same problem as Max when I pasted the StatCounter code into a widget. It worked as a counter, but wasn’t giving me the information it’s supposed to provide. So, on to iTweak! I’m sure I’m doing something stupid but my file in Library/Application Support/iWeb shows something called Domain but it’s not highlighted so I can’t select it. Help, please?

Hey there, Max, everything is working properly for me — however, I have one issue: all my stats on StatCounter don’t give out any referring links. When I click on “Came From” all the referring links are from my own site, or says “no referring link”. Any thoughts as to why this is? I have another project in same StatCounter account (my blog), and I always get links from where people are coming from.

Hi Max. Cool program. Question for you..statcounter gives the option of having a visible counter on the Home page and then invisible counters on the other pages. If you choose that option it provides you two different codes one for the Home page and one for others. Can this option be used through iTweak or can you only paste one code for all pages? Thanks.

does iTweak work with sites published by iWeb ‘09? I’m also getting the “There has been an error while trying to add the hitcounter.” error, and I don’t see the Google analytics code in my resulting web pages. It appears to have worked once. I don’t have iDisk syncing turned on.
