Hi Max, Where did the responses to this thread go? I wrote a week ago that my rollovers worked great when I viewed the html file, but when I viewed the published site on safari and mozilla they didn’t work. You replied and asked what version I’m using, and I replied that I’m using iWeb 1.1.2. Do I need iWeb 08 to get this to work? I used all jpeg images and one png just to see if that affected anything, but none of them worked. Thanks again for the great tutorial video.
I made the rollover buttons also be links to other pages in my site. The link worked but the rollover feature did not. When I moused over the picture it didn’t do anything.
Ok I think I know why I’m having problems, but let me explain what I’m doing. I’m following all your instructions on the tutorial and when I look at my site in html it works fine. I’m publishing my site to a file (as opposed to “pubish to .mac” and editing that. I’m using .mac right now to publish so I’ve been trying to do that through iWeb, but I don’t think it’s publishing my file I saved on my desktop. I think I either need to always publish my file through another server or is there a way to save the revised file from my desktop back into the iWeb program so when I click “publish to .mac” it actually publishes what I changed instead of just overwriting all my changes? I’m using iWeb”08″. Does this make sense?
