Again, again and again, Apple has made me move away from my Dance/Electronic/Indie/Rock (lol) music direction and look at the artist of their new iPod Touch ad. The artist is Brendan Benson from Detroit, Michigan.

He is a solo artist and he is part of the band The Raconteurs. Also in the band (while it was still active), was the White Stripes star Jack White. Great man and great group of people around Benson. Funny to see so many stars separate … In any case, I would just like to share his songs because I find these are very relaxing and are just great to listen to in the morning or on a rainy day.

I thought instead of just posting about some boring Apple stuff or iMap updates, I’d make a slight change and post about Music.

I found a great Album – thanks to a friend – named “Pop Up” by “Yelle.” Great band with absolute great Pop sounds mixed with some electronic beats. I can only recommend this band!

Best song is surely “Les Femmes,” as it’s remix. The original is good as well – but it’s missing some “tuney” things that make it more interesting. The best thing is, I do not understand a word of what they are saying – which makes it weird for me listening to music which I, for the first time, do not really understand. LOL. Anyway – Check it out.
